A) Roll air-dry clay into 1/4" thickness using wood dowels and a clay roller.
A) Lay textured ribbons on the clay.
B) Roll again to press the designs into the clay.
C) Remove the ribbons.
D) Press a cookie cutter into the clay. Remove excess clay from around the sides and put it back in the container to keep it fresh.
A) Use a straw to make holes in the clay. Use different sized straws for a fun look! Tip: Make a fresh cut on the straw with each hole because the clay from the previous hole will clog the opening. Let the clay frog dry overnight.
A) Paint the clay frog. Let dry.
B) Apply gold metallic paint to the clay frog. Be sure to get the gold paint into the recesses of the design.
C) Quickly wipe off the excess gold paint from the surface. Let dry.
D) The gold paint in the design will add depth and shimmer.
A) Apply a coat of gloss decoupage to the clay frog. Let dry.
B) The decoupage will seal the clay flower frog and add a nice shine!
A) Insert flower stems into the clay flower frog.
B) Enjoy your beautiful floral arrangement!
