RED AND WHITE STRIPES

STEP 1:

A)    Apply strips of tape on the burlap to create stripes. Paint the exposed areas red. Let dry.

B)    Remove the old tape and add new tape over the red stripes.

C)   Paint the exposed areas white. Let dry. Remove the tape.

D)   The stripe pattern is complete!

WHITE STAR

STEP 2:

A)    Print out the template.

B)    Cut out the stars.

STEP 3:

A)    Trace the large star template onto a burlap pennant using a pencil.

B)    Remove the star template.

C)   Paint the star white. Let dry.

D)   The white star pattern is complete!

BLUE AND WHITE STARS

STEP 4:

A)    Trace the star templates onto a burlap pennant using a pencil. Place the larger star in the center and the smaller stars scattered around the larger star. Remove the star templates.

B)    Paint the background area blue. Let dry.

C)   Paint the stars white. Let dry.

D)   The blue and white star pattern is complete!

STEP 5:

A)    Repeat the designs to create a banner.
