Let's Get Started

STEP 1:

A)    Pour the wafers into small microwave-safe bowls; one bowl for each color you would like to make.

B)    Melt the wafers according to the directions on the package. Tip: Adding vegetable oil while microwaving helps the chocolate melt more smoothly and creates a smooth, glossy finish while dipping and drizzling.

C)   Add drops of food coloring to achieve the color you would like. Mix well to incorporate.

D)   Mix the food coloring into the other bowls as well, so all of your colors are ready to use.

STEP 2:

A)    Dip the ends of the wafer cookies into the melted chocolate colors.

B)    Set wafer cookies on parchment paper to cool.

STEP 3:

A)    Cut a very small edge off the corner of a plastic sandwich bag to create a tiny hole. Prepare one bag for each color of chocolate.

B)    Pour the melted chocolate colors into the plastic bags.Tip: Lay the bags on parchment paper in case some of the melted chocolate leaks out of the holes.

STEP 4:

A)    Drizzle the melted chocolate over the dipped wafer cookies.

STEP 5:

A)    Decorate the wafer cookies with candy eyes, sprinkles and candy corn.
