Give an old or thrifted bunny figurine a stylish second life with this easy upcycling project. Using textured paint and simple finishing techniques, you’ll transform it into a chic faux-concrete bunny that looks like it came from a high-end home décor boutique.

Let's Get Started

STEP 1:

A)    Clean and prep the bunny figurine as needed. Apply a coat of primer and let dry.

STEP 2:

A)    Mix baking soda with gray paint to create a textured, concrete-like finish.

STEP 3:

A)    Paint the bunny with the textured gray paint. Let dry, then apply a second coat. Let dry completely.

STEP 4:

A)    Using a long-bristled brush, lightly dry-brush touches of white paint onto the bunny. Let dry.

STEP 5:

A)    Using the same dry-brush technique, apply touches of black paint for added depth. Let dry.

STEP 6:

A)    Apply decoupage medium in random areas and press on small pieces of moss. Let dry.
