What You'll Need:

Let's Do This!

Letter "B":

Step 1:

A) Paint the large wooden letter with white acrylic craft paint. Let dry. Tip: Paint the sides of the letter for a more complete look.

B) Place two pieces of 1" painter's tape across the "B", covering the holes. Tip: Continue this tape along the sides for stripes to cover the entire letter.

C) Paint the exposed surface with orange acrylic craft paint. Let dry.

D) Remove painter's tape.

Step 2:

A) Find a flower and circle shape in the Wood Classic Shapes. Paint the circle white and the flower gold. Let dry.

B) Using the Sparkling Gem Retro Sticker pack, apply a large blue gem to the center of the flower. Add some tacky glue for support.

C) Using the same gem pack, add a ring of small blue gems along the edge of the white circle.

D) Write child's name in the center of the circle using a fine tip marker or black pen.

Step 3:

A) Glue the flower shape to the top left corner of the "B," slightly hanging off the left edge. Glue the circle to the bottom right of the "B," hanging slightly off the right edge.

B) Using the Crafter's Closet Sparkling Bright Gems, glue four crystal gems along the curve of the top right edge of the letter. Let dry.

Letter "S":

B) Place gold tape over center of letter, letting extra hang off on each side.

C) Flip letter over and cut off extra tape with a project knife.

Step 3:

A) Choose your favorite pattern paper and trace the lower part of the letter overtop. Tip: Be mindful of the lines in your pattern, keeping everything lined up with the bottom of the letter for a clean look.

B) Cut out the traced lower "S" shape. This pattern paper will meet up with the gold tape when applied to the letter.

C) Glue the pattern paper onto the letter. Tip: Use a paintbrush to smooth out glue to prevent wrinkles.

Step 4:

A) Using the Sparkling Gem Retro Sticker pack, apply a small blue gem to the top center of the butterfly, where the head would go.

B) Write child's name on butterfly using a fine tip marker or black pen.

C) Glue the butterfly on an angle to the lower right edge of the letter. Overlap it slightly on top of the gold tape and pattern paper.

D) Using the Crafter's Closet Sparkling Bright Gems, glue three crystal gems in a row, above the gold tape. Let dry.

Step 5:

A) Tie silver ribbon onto a pencil to create a bow.

B) Carefully pull the bow off the pencil. Adjust the tightness in the bow accordingly.

C) Cut off any extra ribbon.

D) Glue the bow to the center of the gold tape on the letter. Let dry.

Letter "R":

Step 1:

A) Trace wooden "R" letter on top of pattern paper. Tip: Use a pencil so the marks can be easily erased later.

Step 4:

A) Tie gold ribbon onto a pencil to create a bow.

B) Carefully pull the bow off the pencil. Adjust the tightness in the bow accordingly.

C) Cut off any extra ribbon.

D) Glue the bow to the top left side of the "R", above the column of gems. Let dry.

Assemble Basket:

Step 1:

A) Measure length of front of basket. Cut 1 ½ times that measurement of ribbon. You will need two silver ribbon strips and one gold ribbon strip.

B) Tape these three pieces to a table, placing the gold ribbon in the center. This will make it easier to braid. Braid ribbon. Repeat for each basket.

Step 2:

A) Glue braid to back of letters. Let dry.

B) Tie to basket handles and hang on front.
