Flower Fairy Lights
Transform your leftover Easter egg cartons into enchanting flower fairy lights with this whimsical craft. Painted with watercolors and sprinkled with a touch of glitter, these fairy lights will add a magical glow to any room while repurposing holiday scraps in a creative and eco-friendly way.

Let's Get Started

STEP 1:

A)    Cut egg cartons apart to make flower shapes.

STEP 2:

A)    Paint the egg carton flowers with watercolors. Have fun using different colors, if you’d like. Tip: Use a darker color in the center of the flowers. Highlight the edges of the flowers with a contrasting color.

B)    Let dry.

STEP 3:

A)    Brush tacky glue on the inside petals of the flowers.

B)    Sprinkle glitter over the wet glue.

C)   Let dry.

STEP 4:

A)    Poke holes in the flower centers using the tool from the string light set.

B)    Insert a light into a flower.

C)   Continue inserting the lights into all the flowers.

D)   Flip the switch on the battery box and enjoy!
