Tinted Glass Jars
Create a stunning display by transforming recycled glass jars into beautiful vases. These pretty DIY jars are an easy craft to make for your Valentine’s Day decor.

What You'll Need:

Let's Get Started

STEP 1:

A)    Collect assorted glass jars. Note: This is a great craft to use recycled jars!

STEP 2:

A)    Stir together one tablespoon of deco podge and one tablespoon of water.

B)    Add food coloring to the deco podge and water mixture.

C)   Stir the food coloring into the mixture until it’s fully incorporated and the color is smooth.

D)   Note: You can create your own tint colors by adjusting the amount of drops and the combination of colors in the mixture. Have fun experimenting!

STEP 3:

A)    Pour the tint mixture into a glass jar.

B)    Swirl the jar around to completely cover the inside.

C)   Turn the jar upside down to let the excess mixture pour back into the bowl. Be sure that the tint covers the inside of the glass jar up to the top.

D)   Place a few craft sticks over the bowl and rest the jar on them so the mixture can drip out into the bowl. Let dry.

STEP 4:

A)    Once your jar is dry, add it to your Valentine’s Day decor! Note: Do not add water to the inside of the jar, or the tint will dissolve.
