A) Use a pencil to lightly sketch hearts of different sizes and shapes on watercolor paper.
STEP 2:
A) Working on one or two hearts at a time, use a paint brush to fill the heart shapes with water.
STEP 3:
A) Load a brush with watercolor paint and tap it in the water inside the heart. The color will instantly spread across the water. You can use several colors of watercolor paints on the same heart! Tap the colors on different areas of the heart and watch the magic happen.
STEP 4:
A) Sprinkle a bit of glitter on some of the hearts while they are still wet. Make as many hearts as you’d like! Let all the hearts dry.
STEP 5:
A) Cut out each of the hearts, leaving a bit of a white border.
STEP 6:
A) Adhere the watercolor hearts to a blank card in any pattern you choose. Use mounting tape on some of the hearts to add dimension.
