Steps to Follow:
To make this poster by hand:
- Start with a piece of ArtSkills white poster board and lay it out vertically.
- Find a notebook paper image for your background. Print it out to fit your poster edge-to-edge and glue it down when you find the right positioning.
- Add your title, "2012 YEARBOOKS ARE NOW ON SALE!" centered at the top of your poster using large ArtSkills Vinyl Poster Letters. Be sure to substitute "2012" with the current year and leave it on its own line at the top of the poster. Also, leave "SALE!" centered on its own line at the bottom of your title.
- Add your sale's information using small ArtSkills Vinyl Poster Letters a few lines below your title.
- Go back to the top line of your title and add a neon blue star ArtSkills Eye Catcher to the left and right of the year.
- Put a neon yellow burst ArtSkills Eye Catcher to the left of the word "SALE!" in your title. On top of this, add your price using ArtSkills Vinyl Poster Letters.
- Either find some colorful star and swirl clip art images to print and glue to the bottom right-hand corner of your poster, or draw them in with ArtSkills Poster Pencils.
- Lay out words like "DANCES!" and "MEMORIES!" around your poster randomly with different color ArtSkills Quick Stick Foam Letters. Tilt the words.
- Great work! Your poster is all done.
