Steps to Follow:
- Start with a 22x28 white foam board and poster board. Secure all but one corner (lower right) of the poster board with glue/double stick tape to the foam board. To add a decorative border, add strips of colored paper along the top and bottom.
- Use letters to spell out the words “EGG HUNT”. In our example, we used Jumbo Neon Letters.
- Print out and assemble the Basket Template Glue/tape the basket to the poster under the word “HUNT”. Print out Grass Templates. Decorate basket and letters with grass. OPTIONAL: You can use basket and grass as templates and make shapes out of construction/glitter paper of your choice.
- Print and assemble the Face Template. Mount onto foam board for extra support. Cut out and attach behind the poster.
- Print out and assemble the Ear Templates. Attach to back of Face piece. OPTIONAL: Attach supports like craft sticks, dowel rods or foam core strips for added support. Feel free to decorate and spruce up your bunny the way you like. Give him chenille stem whiskers or add cotton balls/faux fur to make them extra fluffy.
- Use letters to spell out the words “EGGSTRAVAGANZA on basket rim. On the basket, use letters to spell out “HOP TO IT”.
- Print out the Egg Template. Use your imagination to color, decorate and create your perfect Easter eggs. Glue the eggs under the poster board corner as shown.
- Now take the loose corner of the poster and curve it up. To create the peeled back corner, bend corner back and attach to poster using a fast-setting glue such as hot glue.
- Use letters to spell out the word “SUNDAY”.
