Steps to Follow:
To make this poster by hand:
- Start with a piece of ArtSkills white foam board and lay it out vertically.
- Find a light bulb clip art image you like. Print it out large enough to fill your poster's background, cut it out, then glue it down centered on your poster.
- Add the emphasis of your title, "VOTE" and your name, centered in the light bulb's widest part using pink ArtSkills Neon Poster Letters.
- Centered below your title, add "FOR" using black ArtSkills Quick Stick Foam Letters and the position you are running for using ArtSkills Vinyl Poster Letters. Give each word its own line.
- In the bottom left corner of your poster, add a yellow holographic directional arrow ArtSkills Eye Catcher pointing diagonally upwards at the position you are running for.
- In the upper right corner of your poster, add a yellow holographic burst Eye Catcher overlapping your light bulb. Inside this Eye Catcher, add "BRIGHT IDEA!" using black ArtSkills Quick Stick Foam Letters.
- Using the poker provided in your ArtSkills Poster Lights box, poke holes through the back of your poster to line the outside of your light bulb's "glass" portion. Make sure to spread them evenly to fit the amount of lights you have. Push the light bulbs through these holes so they fit snuggly, then stick your battery pack to the back of your poster using its included adhesive strips. If your wiring is sticking out too much in the back, you can use either hot glue or tape to attach it to your poster. Use caution if you decide to use hot glue.
- Awesome! Your poster is now complete.
